The Coastal Plains Outdoor School is partnering with others in the Gulf South Environmental Education Network to host our second gathering of educators and leaders in experiential, land-based learning in March 2023. This intimate gathering of people dedicated to building stronger relationships between land and people in the Gulf South region will be held this year at Chicot State Park. If you are working in nature-based, farm-based education or promoting such efforts as a community leader, this gathering is for you!

How do we build stronger relationships between people and land? What do healthy relationships and communities look like?
FORMAT:
Join us for this unique “open space” retreat, where the attendees shape the conversation and decide the activities they want to do most. This retreat is centered around building stronger relationships among attendees in a supportive environment. Attendees support each other by helping with meals and clean up. Dormitory bunkhouse and meals are provided. Tent camping allowed on premises. Additional sleeping accommodations may be available through the state park but must be reserved separately.
